The role Customs plays in the process of Import and Export is supreme. Traders have to go through Customs whenever they want to bring in their Cargo or take it out of India. There has been a great increase in the International Trade, causing more Foreign Cargo coming into the nation. Customs Clearance has hence become an integral part, especially in Freight Forwarding. There has also been an increase in regulations and responsibilities of a Customs organization in India.
