“Insurance in EXIM
Logistics” course provides introduction to various concepts related to
Insurance. The course describes the Functions, Acts, Elements, Principles and
Insurance policy. It further describes/includes INCOTERMS related to it and
description of various changes that came in it. We also learn about the Marine
Insurance, Claims, Customs Duty Coverage, Clauses, Convention, Hague-Visby and
Rotterdam rules, General Average and Salvage,
Loss Prevention and Risk Management.

Internationally and within India, he also holds multiple positions in Trade
Associations. He has 3 publications to his credit- Clearance through Indian
Customs, International Freight Forwarding a Complete Handbook, Handbook for
Customs Clearance.

Mr. Viren C. Dayal
Mr. Viren C. Dayal has a rich industry experience spanning over three decades. He has been teaching and training since more than two decades and was one of the founders of the BCHAA. He holds the position of a Course Coordinator at the IIFF Training. He is also associated as a visiting faculty of Logistics and Supply Chain Management at the Podar College of Commerce and Economics for the past two years.
