This unit analyses the Dangerous Goods by Air and Sea. It talks about the various types of risks it poses and how to manage it as well as the Indian regulatory framework. The labels used to identify dangerous goods, how to classify them and the dangers to transport them are presented in detail. There are ample visual representations, especially about the UN Specification Marking, to allow greater understanding. The unit concludes with an analysis of the reason behind accidents with practical examples.

A PG in Finance & HR from XLRI, Jamshedpur, he holds multiple diplomas viz. Business Finance, Direct & Indirect Tax, Supply chain from IIM Kozhikode, Air Cargo Logistics and DGR from IATA and Risk Management. He is also an IRCA certified ISO 45001 Lead Auditor.
